Hi, I’m Anne. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDR-trained therapist in the state of Texas. Thanks for checking out my therapy practice to see if we are a good fit. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University. While in training, I provided therapy at the Denton County Jail and Denton County Friends of the Family. I worked with adolescents in a residential facility for eating disorders for three years at Center for Discovery as a Primary Therapist where I learned to guide adolescents with eating disorders and their families through the recovery process. After that, I worked in private practice at Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center where I saw adolescent and adult clients with varying diagnoses. I have been trained in EMDR and work with clients recovering from an eating disorder, healing from trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, depression, or anxiety. I work with women’s issues, anyone questioning or of marginalized sexual and gender identity, early adulthood, and most individuals who are ready to learn a little more about themselves.
